"60 Minutes" Spider-Man Preview

In case you missed it last month, here's the 60 Minutes piece on the making of Spider-Man.

Money quote: "Nobody wants to see the $20 million Spider-Man. They want to see the $60 million Spider-Man."

Likewise, nobody cares about just a small flop. They care about a big flop!




Bono, by the way, saw the show last night. For the first time.

    I'm sadly struck by how poor the US and NY theatre scene is compared to London and the UK. Compare the NY Times and this blog (which I cherish) to The Guardian Online.

    No, not spamming. I imagine if I had been I would indeed have included a link. I trust readers of this blog are capable of finding their own way. I chose The Guardian because it has the most extensive UK coverage both geographically and stylistically. And I mentioned it at all in hopes that US readers would be inspired to demand improved coverage.
