Having just been to the opening preview performance I do encourage folks to see it for themselves :-)

It is unlike any other musical I've seen or heard. The music is complex and amazingly beautiful and their adaptation captures the wonderful emotional journey of the novel.

Fair 'nuff. It wouldn't be the first time I've trashed a musical sight unseen. Perhaps the Leopold & Loeb show "Thrill Me" is enjoying the last laugh this week with the release of its cast album!

Heh heh. You are hardly the only one I've heard make a similar comment on hearing about the idea of the musical :-)

I thought that since the novel discusses the difficulty of using words to teach enlightenment, using music would be an excellent compliment.

Hope you get a chance to check it out.
