Time Out downtown spread

Time Out New York features an expanded theatre supplement this week, the highlight of which is a survey of some of their favorite downtown playwrights. Not all usual suspects, refreshingly.

Some of them (Sheila Callaghan, Nilaja Sun, Anne Washburn) have work on right now, so you can check them out for yourself. Most of the others will be heard from in the fall.
