"Birthday Party" @ McCarter

The great Allan Corduner, a mainstay of Mike Leigh (Topsy Turvy) and other indie and Brit films (including The Grey Zone and Merchant of Venice), stars in what might be the NY area's must-see performance of the fall in Pinter's early masterpiece The Birthday Party, at Princeton's McCarter Theatre. Directed by McCarter A.D. Emily Mann.

The announcement's here, McCarter's info here, but still no mention of which role he's playing. But if he's the devillishly creepy Goldberg, as I expect, it should be well worth a trip on NJ Transit.

You are correct! Allan Corduner will indeed be playing the role of Goldberg opposite Barbara Byrne's Meg and Henry Stram as Stanley.
