Stay Tuned for the Pulitzer...

April 7th, next Monday.

According to Robert Simonson, we probably won't have the hand-wringing surprised of the last two years...

The consensus along the Rialto is that the quest for the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, far from being a horse race or open question, is nothing less than "a slam-dunk," in the words of one observer.

It's interesting that Simonson's piece doesn't mention that Letts has already been a Pulitzer finalist for "Man From Nebraska." So his being in contention this year doesn't seem quite as far-fetched as the article suggests.

Jeez, did he mention "Man From Nebraska" originally and I just somehow missed it? If so, apologies to Mr. Simonson! (And memo to self: get to the eye doctor already!)
