David Mamet: "Good drama has no stage directions. It is the interaction of the characters’ objectives expressed solely through what they say to each other - not what the author says about them. The better the play, the better it will fare on radio."
Als has something about theater up now--boldly dissing "The Homecoming" and trashing Eve Best. Be careful what you wish for.
