Why don't they just go ahead and award the darn thing already.
It's interesting that Simonson's piece doesn't mention that Letts has already been a Pulitzer finalist for "Man From Nebraska." So his being in contention this year doesn't seem quite as far-fetched as the article suggests.

Jeez, did he mention "Man From Nebraska" originally and I just somehow missed it? If so, apologies to Mr. Simonson! (And memo to self: get to the eye doctor already!)
