BASH'd : A Gay Rap Opera is coming down from Edmonton, Canada. They were the breakout smash hit of the 2007 Toronto Fringe, and they have a big fan following in the Canadian Queer community.

Check out their website at www.homohiphop.blogspot.com

(disclosure: I am a Canadian girl in NYC, and I have been a fan of the artists, Nathan Cuckow and Chris Craddock, for years)

Come see KISS AND MAKE UP at the Lortel Theater!

If you loved HAIRSPRAY, CURTAINS, DROWSY CHAPERONE, WAITING FOR GUFFMAN or NOISES OFF, you'll love KISS AND MAKE UP!!!!

THE NY DAILY NEWS has picked KISS AND MAKE UP as a SHOW TO
WATCH this August! (Daily News, August 5,2007)

It's a new madcap musical comedy rollercoaster, written by MARK WEISER, at the historic Lortel Theater, for a special one-week preview, with an ALL STAR BROADWAY CAST featuring Broadway veterans David Sabella (currently in CHICAGO), Stephanie D'Abruzzo (TONY nominee for Best Actress from AVENUE Q) and Capathia Jenkins (FAME BECOMES ME).

heres a blurb on the show:

It's opening night at a small town community theater, and
everything is going wrong. Things go from bad to worse when
the ensemble learns that the President is stuck in town, and
has decided to come to their show! The leading lady succumbs
to the pressure, forcing the leading man to play BOTH parts!
Showbiz is a DRAG!

Our schedule is: 8/20-6pm, 8/22-7pm, 8/23 - 1045pm, 8/24 - 1pm, and 8/25 - 230pm.
Tickets are only $15, and there are group discounts!

Don't miss out on the fun!

I saw FARMTRUCKS on Saturday, and it was hilarious! Definitely one of the best acted shows at the fringe.
